Compact and Safe Gamma-Ray Projector
The Exertus® RID-Se4P combines compact design, low weight and advanced safety features for reliable radiographic inspection using Selenium-75 sources.
Designed for professional non-destructive testing, the RID-Se4P is ISO 3999 compliant and accepts Selenium-75 sources with activities up to 4.44 TBq (120 Ci). Its robust construction and total weight of only 7 kg make it easy to transport and handle across different inspection environments.
A key feature is the automatic Source Assembly Locking Mechanism. The mechanism is triggered by the front of the source assembly, ensuring that the projector can only be locked and disconnected once the source has returned to its safe position. A two-colour safety indicator provides the operator with a clear visual status.
The projector features a stainless-steel outer shell, depleted uranium shielding and a tungsten heavy-alloy source channel. An optional close-proximity collimator is also available, offering quick attachment and easily interchangeable apertures.
